Amanda Friedhoff

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Amanda has recently moved to Jacksonville, TX and joined the admission staff and music faculty of LMC. Amanda received her Bachelors Degree in Flute Performance from Ohio University and her Masters Degree, also in Flute Performance, from California State University, Sacramento. In 2004 Amanda was featured, with her flute quartet, Shimmering Silver, on the 2004 National Flute Association recital Electric Sparks. Most recently Amanda performed at the Midwest Band Clinic in Chicago with the Lakota West High School Symphonic Winds. She has performed with both the Sierra Symphony and the Folsom Lake Symphony Orchestras. Amanda is the Publicist of virtuoso flutist, Amy Porter and the Executive Administrator of Caliendo World Music Publishing, a company specializing in world music for flute musicians. Her teachers have included, Rebecca Andres, Bradley Garner, Alison Brown Sincoff, Laurel Zucker, and Sara Andon. Her discography includes MUSe: Flute Music by Christopher Caliendo on Tule River Records.
